How does delivery work?

Simply browse through our online store, select your groceries and process your payment. Once payment is confirmed, we will pack and dispatch your groceries for delivery the following day. A copy of your receipt will be packed with your order. Should you have any additional comments regarding the order or delivery instructions please write them in the comments section and we will do our best to accommodate your needs!

How do I order bulk goods, produce, meat and any other item which is purchased by weight?

For all products sold by weight (kg), if you enter a whole number it represents a whole kilogram.  A partial weight can be purchased using decimals ie:

1 = 1kg   |   0.1 = 100g   |   1.5 = 1.5kg

Please note: Some meat items are pre-packaged at set weights. The pack size of these items will be listed next to the displayed photo of each product. Simply enter the desired amount (by weight) in a multiple of the pack size you require.

What are your delivery times?

We deliver between 2pm and 6pm Weekdays and 9am-12pm on Saturday mornings. There may be some variance in these times due to traffic conditions. Please note your preferred delivery day and time in the comments section.

When does my order need to be placed?

Place your order before 1pm for delivery the next day. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be delivered Monday.

Is there a minimum order or delivery fee?

There is a minimum order of $50 and a $10 flat fee applies to all deliveries. Alternatively, you can select the click and collect option, and save on delivery costs.

How do I organise click and collect?

Simply visit Kiah (from 2pm the day after you place your online order) with a copy of your receipt to collect your order. If you would like someone else to collect the order for you, just leave the name of the nominated person in the comments section and ask them to bring in a copy of the receipt. Alternatively, feel free to park in front of the shop, call the store upon arrival and a staff member will gladly bring the order to your car!

When ordering, please leave a preferred date/time of collection in the comments section. Please note, click and collect orders will need to be collected within a week of preferred collection date.  If this does not occur, then your money will be refunded, and the order cancelled.

How will my order be packed?

The team at Kiah are passionate about reducing our carbon footprint and minimising waste as much as possible! For this reason, we would really, really, really love it if someone is home to receive your order and together we can make the online shopping experience totally waste free!  That way dry goods can be transferred from our recycled boxes directly to your kitchen and chilled items can be transferred directly from our coolers to your fridge/freezer with no plastic, packaging or wastage!

Please know, we will always do our best to accommodate the time you specify in the comments section when someone will be home to receive the order as this is the best option for optimum freshness of your order.  We will also call you on your preferred number approximately half hour before delivery and let you know our courier is on their way.

Most importantly, we do love getting to know our Kiah family so a friendly hello will always be delivered with your order!

What happens if I’m not home?

We understand life is busy and can be unpredictable so if for whatever reason you will not be home to receive your order, please contact the store to arrange an alternate time when you will be home  or use the comments section to provide us with further details.  If you would like us to leave the goods, please specify in the comments section the safest place to do so.  Alternatively, we are happy to bring the order back to the store and it can be redelivered (delivery fee $10). We can also make your order available for collection in store at no charge.

What happens to my groceries if I request them to be left?

Please specify in the comments section a preferred safe spot for us to leave your order. We will keep all refrigerated and frozen items chilled while in transit, however we will not provide any packaging, eskys or coolers with the order. If you will not be home, please leave a cooler bag or esky with ice bricks in a shady spot to help keep your orders cold.  All dry goods will be carefully packed in recycled cardboard boxes.  The boxes will have no additional packaging as we always try to minimise waste. Your order will be waiting for you exactly where you asked us to leave it!

What if you don’t deliver to my postcode?

Please give us a call 07 3128 2260 or send us an email [email protected] with your postcode and we will do all we can to try and arrange a suitable delivery option.

How do you track the deliveries that are made?

We will keep a record of time stamped photos of your delivery to ensure that it has been delivered safely and securely. If you are not home, we will always do our best to leave your delivery in your nominated safe spot, however, we are not liable for any theft, damage or spoiling of goods once delivery has occurred.

What happens if I have a question regarding my order?
